Ahmed is a technology strategist hailing from Abbottabad, with a background in computer engineering from UET Peshawar. Currently positioned as an Azure & Modern Workplace Solutions Specialist at Microsoft, he extends his expertise across Pakistan and the wider EMEA region. He looks over mission critical projects as an account manager.

Previously, Ahmed served as a Cloud Developer Consultant at IBM, where he was part of Hybrid Cloud Management and EMM/CVM service lines in Telco vertical. Notably, he was part of Vodafone Qatar team that contributed in the strategic delivery of FIFA World Cup Qatar 22'.

A stalwart in bleeding-edge technologies, Ahmed is recognized as a technology evangelist, boasting affiliations with industry titans such as Microsoft, GitHub, LinkedIn, IBM, Google, Intel, Nvidia, Dell, HP and Oracle among others. His accolades include international awards and representations of Pakistan at esteemed developer conferences like Microsoft Build, Microsoft Ignite, and Azure Global.

Ahmed’s achievements extend to his role as the national winner of Imagine Cup 22' Pakistan and World’s #6 Healthcare Finalist. He’s also contributed significantly as a judge for Microsoft Imagine Cup events, showcasing his dedication to nurturing tech talent.

In recent times at Microsoft, he has been transforming critical national verticals like education, governance & healthcare by contributing to customers like Higher Education Commission, Prime Minister Office - IT and EDU Ministries & Aga Khan Hospital etc.
